What does a Sr. Product Manager do at Rinnai?
Are you passionate about creating things that exceed customer expectations? Β If yes, read on. Β As a Senior Manager of Product Management for Rinnai you will oversee and lead the research, design, and coordination of new and existing product lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead design thinking initiatives to understand the needs of the customers and develop solutions that exceed expectations.
- Understand existing and potential customers (3 step distribution), and their unique needs and requirements.
- Define customer features and benefits as well as the customer experience.
- Research North American markets for trends, technologies, and opportunities.
- Understand competitive landscape and continually manages competitive analysis.
- Lead competitive product analysis initiatives.
- Manages all aspects of OEM products including communications with Rinnai Japan.
- Defines unique selling points and market differentiators.
- Develop and deliver on 3-5 year product and technology roadmap / strategy technology strategy / roadmap with a focus on growing this product space / business a minimum of 15% YOY.
- Analyze potential partners, OEM opportunities and technology innovations.
- Defines channel(s) of distribution.
- Develops and executes entire project plan from concept to launch.
- Drives assumptions in financial models and meets targets.
- Follows and executes Rinnai New Product Development (NPD) Process.
- Facilitates project teams.
- Leads product specification development and approvals.
- Defines/Delivers the go to market plan with all stakeholders.
- Develops pricing and bundling options and proposals.

REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing, business or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of product-line management, product development or marketing experience and OEM account management.
- Knowledge of consumer goods or decarbonization product.
- Experience in 3-step distribution models.
- Experienced in business financials.
- Experience in Design Thinking
- Agile product development process
SKILLS
- Project Management skills.

- Must demonstrate highly developed interpersonal / communication skills.
- Strong organization / time management and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create and write professional documents with excellent knowledge and use Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
