About the Role

Essity Professional Hygiene is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager who is responsible for helping to develop the North American (NA) product strategy, leading the implementation of the Business Unit (BU) product strategy in NA, and executing the tactical plans based on priority segments. The role is also responsible for the management of one or more product groups at the NA level. This role will have one product management direct report.

What You Will Do

  • With Product Director, help develop NA marketing strategy as well as implement and drive regional market execution of centrally developed product plans, aligned with segment strategies
  • Act as Product Champion for assigned sub-category(s) for the entire NA region
  • Manage one product manager responsible for in market implementation of regional marketing plans
  • Drive forecasting effort in collaboration with Regional Customer and Segment Marketing, to be consolidated at BU product level
  • Maintain direct relationship with Product Supply, steering assortment optimization and quality needs at regional level
  • Define needs for and provide input to product marketing plan for maintenance or launch
  • Input and perform product part in consolidated product launches
  • Set local pricing within pricing guidelines given at launch preparation
  • Implement marketing areas in Phase In, Phase Out (PIPO) process along with BU Product Director and in coordination with Regional Customer Marketing
  • Manage Intellectual Property local infringement issues: gather evidence to build case, update local organizations and communications
  • Conduct and support product training to Sales
  • Ensure Price list, Catalogue and Assortment list updates
  • Act as complaint handler for the Region, consolidating at Product BU level and working in accordance with Global handling procedures

Who You Are

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years’ experience in a product or marketing related management role
  • Prior experience in B2B Skincare category preferred but not required
  • Deep functional knowledge in Product marketing
  • Relevant (ideally B2B) business understanding
  • Experienced in effectively executing product/marketing plans, engaging cross-functional stakeholders
