Senior Principal Product Manager

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-driven professional that possesses a strong combination of IT & communication skills, existing expert skills around databases and Cloud technologies.

You will work directly with both customers and our development teams to support and enhance our existing Database Cloud services for developers, as well as build out net new services that bring a Cloud Native application experience to the Oracle Database. You will have experience building and delivering applications and microservices using Continuous Integration and Delivery principals, REST APIs, Liquibase, GitHub, Docker, Terraform, and more. You will also be serving as an Oracle Database expert representative on the development teams. You will be a public face for our technology, delivering press releases, white papers, videos, blog posts, Hands-On Labs, etc. that showcase our technology and help customers get started using our technology and services. 

Duties will be varied and complex requiring independent judgment and proactive action with the role including, but not limited to, the following:

• Maintain product and Cloud Service roadmaps
• Develop product strategy, write feature and service requirements, user stories, and review developer specifications
• Analyze user needs and feedback, ensuring our technology is easy to use and delivering features on the 80-20 rule
• Work directly with customers, ensure they are maximizing their return on investment in our technology and Cloud platforms
