Experience
  • 4+ years of Product Management experience in a software / product development organization (primary requirement)
  • 1+ years of proven product development / support experience in a software / product development organization preferred
  • Proven experience of interfacing with customers and understanding their needs
  • Strong Techno-Commercial/ Business Orientation knowledge
  • Financial management experience: Estimating, Budgeting, Pricing, Risk assessment

Role
Product Strategy
  • Monitor and drive adherence to the set budgets to drive profitability






Product Roadmap
  • Research and develop appropriate templates / questionnaires to collate market data and create customer / user persona
  • Collate market requirements / customer needs for current / future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Participate in in-person customer research to identify incremental / disruptive improvement for existing products / ideas for new products
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing teams to run surveys and other interventions to gather market and customer intel
  • Work closely with the Product Manager to create a business case for any enhancements / new features / new modules that affect the product / portfolio / EV




Feature Roadmap Prioritization
  • Translate customer needs and business requirements into feature / module specifications to spearhead the module / product realization
  • Collaborate with the Product Engineering Manager & Product Architect to evaluate the techno-commercial aspects of new development / module enhancement
  • Prioritize the features / modules to detail out the roadmap including timelines and milestones
  • Create the roadmap for the module / feature / small non-complex product with high level feature specifications to communicate how features are intended to be implemented
Consultant-Product Management
  • Drive Release Management team to adhere to the set timelines and budget to ensure small non-complex product / module / feature launch
targets are met as per the predicted costs

Consultant-Product Management
  • Work closely with the Release Management team to manage constant iteration and frequent releases as per the envisaged business case
  • Work closely with the Product realization teams to drive version management and maintenance of bug catalogues at the feature / module / small non-complex product level
  • Coordinate with the Release Management team to receive constant product and solution backlogs to monitor product roadmap realization and take appropriate actions to mitigate risk




Development & Testing
  • Create acceptance tests to ensure that product / feature realization and product / module / feature vision are in line
  • Review module / feature / small non-complex product demo along with the product realization team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
  • Identify challenges and performance issues that may lead to the breach in the set product targets and escalate the same to the leadership
  • Own and manage the product documentation for the specific module / feature / small non-complex product






Implementation & Support
  • Support and participate in post launch reviews and gather customer feedback to assess scope for improvement
  • Collate data for periodic reports to the Product / Portfolio head to provide visibility on product enhancement, realization, adherence to launch date, etc.
  • Participate in select win-loss reviews with the sales teams to gather inputs on product enhancements, product sell-ability, etc.
  • Interface with the marketing, sales, services teams and other internal customer forums to gather inputs for module / feature / small non- complex product enhancements
  • On an ongoing basis, undertake product & market analysis through frameworks such as SWOT to enable product/solution improvements;
Suggest opportunities for diversification

  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to develop the go-to- market plan for the feature / small non-complex product
