WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Product Manager for ABC Billing & Collections, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, developing long-term product plans, and defining product features that address those needs. You will also be responsible for the growth and usage of our products to ensure we’re helping businesses get the most value from using ABC’s Commerce platform.

At ABC, product development is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, product marketing, data science and customer-facing teams. You’d be joining a team of experienced Product Managers who have a track record of successfully building large-scale business and SaaS products that are collectively impacting millions of businesses and members around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to research, document, and deeply understand customer needs in Billing and Collections, designing and deploying new payments experiences.Β 
  • Conduct in-depth research on the competitive landscape and translate insights into differentiating product capabilities and features. Define product requirements, provide clear prioritization, and support decisions related to development sequencing. You will also participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution to align with the roadmap.
  • Partner with engineering to understand the commerce platform and technology to develop new products, features and functionality to support growth and industry-best user experiences including invoicing, subscriptions, recurring payments, dunning process, notifications and Commerce User Interfaces and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to develop a compelling roadmap for how we can extend our billing and collections solutions to our clients.
  • Use metrics and analytics to guide product optimization and measure success.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to gain an in-depth understanding of Membership and Operations systems,Β  integrate with Commerce APIs, and contribute to critical discussions on product design, data modeling and software architecture.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated success and execution track record in building and sustaining scalable technology products.
  • Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can collaborate and thrive in productive, healthy debate done with mutual respect and shared goals. You can make complex concepts accessible with clear communication.
  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder management including driving product roadmaps, client communications, handling escalations, and advocating for ongoing investment in your product.
  • Experience working on payments or billing products with developer interfaces (App deployment, APIs, SDKs); software or SaaS-related product experience a plus.
  • Experience successfully building and launching products and services
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
    • Payments and/or eCommerce
    • Mobile device management
    • Subscription billing
    • Software product lifecycle management
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Product Management or Business Management

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in the United States and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for U.S. based candidates for this positionΒ is $65,000 -- $89,000 USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
