Tech, BCA, etc.) Experience • 8+ years of proven Product Management experience in a software / product development organization (primary requirement) • Demonstrated competence in creating complex solutions / products • Strong Techno-Commercial/ Business Orientation and Cost Sensitive • Financial management experience: Estimating, Budgeting, Pricing, Risk assessment • Proven experience of interfacing with customers and understanding their needs • Experience of having led a high performing team Job Responsibilities Product Strategy  Set budgets for product realization and drive teams to adhere to the cost plan to maintain profitability  Assist in the commercial evaluation of ecosystem partners and recommend options  Drive self and team to identify incremental / disruptive improvement for existing products / ideas for new products through in-person customer research  Create a business case for product pricing and suggest means to guard the profitability of the product Product Roadmap  Validate the templates / questionnaires / framework for collating market data and customer / user persona  Commission market research, usability studies and focus groups to identify best benchmarks for solving customer problems  Build out customer / user personas to drive identification of new product ideas / incremental or disruptive product enhancements  Use customer and market feedback, competitive analysis and business metrics to provide inputs to make informed decisions on the product roadmap and shape the future of the product  Analyse each enhancement / modification / new product to identify alignment with EV's portfolio of products and their product vision  Develop and communicate new product / enhancement vision to the product realization team (Program Managers, Engineering Managers, Architects, etc.)  Create the roadmap for the product with high level feature specifications to communicate the product vision ©2016 EdgeVerve Systems Limited 2  Suggest the most apt operating model (build/buy/partner/ ecosystem management) for the product / module Feature Roadmap Prioritization  Evaluate and make trade-off decisions on the product roadmap while balancing customer needs and business requirements  Use deep product expertise to anticipate risks and guide on suitable mitigation and management action  Validate incremental launch targets and iterations thereof to seek alignment with the overall product vision / targets Feature Grooming  Development & Testing  Interface closely with the product realization teams to ensure product / feature launch and implementation of the product roadmap as per the set timelines and budgets.  Monitor product backlogs to drive on time product realization as per the agreed roadmap Implementation & Support  Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive successful product launches and product adoption  Establish a standard framework / guidelines for product documentation, version management, etc. for the product  Drive feature acceptance tests to ensure alignment between the product roadmap and the realized product  Participate in demos at the end of the PI to evaluate business value achieved versus plan  Own and drive post launch reviews and gather customer feedback to assess scope for improvement and drive associated action  Analyze data to provide valuable insights to the Product / Portfolio Head on product enhancement, realization, adherence to launch targets, etc.  Drive knowledge management practices and best practices sharing within the product team  Participate in select win-loss reviews with the sales teams to gather inputs on product enhancements, product sell-ability, etc.; Drive internal customer forums to gather inputs for product / feature enhancements Product Marketing  Collaborate with the Product Marketing teams to create a robust go-to market strategy that drives differentiation and high recall for EV's products  Identify product positioning and go-to-market strategy for the product and drive successful product launches through the Product marketing teams
