Description

The Payment Experiences and Services team manages multiple products and services that enable seamless payment experiences for Chase customers. We are at the forefront of the payments modernization journey, building scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions that power the future of banking.Β 

As a Vice President Product Manager within the Payment Experiences & Services team, you will lead the development and delivery of key platform services which are the central components of Chase’s payments modernization journey. You will navigate complex data environments, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive the integration of PIM capabilities into strategic initiatives across the bank. You will have strong technical acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead multiple development teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Β 

Job ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Lead the development and delivery of platform services within the Payment Experiences & Services team, enabling customer and servicing-facing experiences for payment management across ChaseΒ 
  • Navigate Chase’s complex data environment to replicate and synchronize data across legacy and target state systems, ensuring data integrity and availability for customer experiencesΒ 
  • Partner closely with Banking Payment APGs to align platform development with APG modernization timelines and strategic prioritiesΒ 
  • Advocate for new data replication solutions with Technology, championing innovative approaches to support evolving Banking Payment customer needsΒ 
  • Manage multiple development teams responsible for building and maintaining databases and services that power customer-facing payment experiencesΒ 
  • Drive integration of the platform capabilities into strategic initiatives across the bank, collaborating with product, technology, and business partners to deliver seamless solutionsΒ 
  • Oversee product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder priorities, and modernization goalsΒ 
  • Facilitate effective sprint planning and resource utilization, partnering with engineering leads to ensure timely delivery of high-value featuresΒ 
  • Build and manage key relationships with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Servicing, Legal, and ComplianceΒ 
  • Support production issue resolution and feedback loops, ensuring continuous improvement and client satisfaction

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsΒ 

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, financial services, technology, or project managementΒ 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Subject matter expertise in payments architecture, data replication, and digital platformsΒ 
  • Proven track record managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and agile development teams in a matrixed environmentΒ 
  • Experience navigating complex data environments, including legacy and modernized systems, and driving data replication solutionsΒ 
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner across Product, Technology, and Business teamsΒ 
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver, capable of addressing both technical and functional challengesΒ 
  • Proficient with MS Office tools, JIRA, and Confluence

  • Experience with payments modernization initiatives and large-scale platform transformationsΒ 
  • Familiarity with customer-facing payment experiences and servicing platformsΒ 
  • Advanced degree in business, technology, or related field
