We’re seeking a future team member for the role ofΒ Vice President – Product ManagementΒ to join the BNY Investments team. This role is located in New York.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Β 

  • Lead the development, evaluation, and launch of investment products across ETFs, SMAs and alternative investment strategies, with a primary focus on North American markets.

  • Identify and assess new product opportunities through market analysis, client demand insights, competitive research and industry trends.

  • Partner with investment, distribution, legal, compliance, operations and technology teams to deliver new products and enhancements from concept through launch.

  • Support product lifecycle management activities, including product positioning, enhancement, governance and ongoing product strategy.

  • Prepare business cases and strategic recommendations that balance commercial opportunity, client demand, operational considerations and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution across multiple stakeholders to support growth objectives and improve speed to market.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Β 

  • Significant experience in investment product development, product management or product strategy within an asset management or investment management environment.
  • Strong understanding of one or more of the following areas: ETFs, retail SMAs, alternatives, and U.S. registered fund structures.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory, operational and distribution considerations associated with developing and maintaining investment products.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, navigate complex organizations and manage competing priorities to deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgement with the ability to evaluate product opportunities, challenge assumptions and make well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, CFA or similar qualification a plus. Market data and competitor analysis experience would be advantageous.
