Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to join our revenue management team. You'll develop sophisticated systems and strategies for inventory management, pricing optimization, and shipping products as we scale our international freight forwarding service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build the technical architecture that will help AGL become a top global freight provider.



Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement technical architecture for revenue management systems processing real-time data
- Develop scalable systems combining machine learning with real-time optimization algorithms
- Partner with data science teams to implement pricing models and algorithms in production
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver end-to-end technical solutions
- Create data pipelines and APIs for gathering and processing critical pricing inputs
- Implement automated pricing mechanisms optimizing customer experience and business growth
- Define success metrics and analyze system performance data to inform technical requirements
- Make complex technical architecture decisions balancing multiple factors

A day in the life
You'll start your day collaborating with engineering teams on system architecture, then meet with finance to discuss pricing model requirements. Later, you'll analyze performance data to prioritize new features, before ending the day presenting a technical roadmap to leadership. Throughout, you'll navigate ambiguity while making decisions that impact multiple organizations.

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
