The Apple Services Commerce Product team is looking for a seasoned and passionate Product Manager to lead the strategy and build scalable capabilities of Accounts Safety \u0026 Compliance for Apple Media \u0026 Purchases. Our Commerce Product team builds the foundational platform features that empower Apple Services and third-party developers and publishers to monetize content by pricing and selling subscriptions and consumables, offering promotions β ultimately connecting millions of users with incredible experiences. \\n\\nAs a Product Manager, you will own the product vision and roadmap for accounts features, shaping strategy and prioritizing initiatives that enhance customer experience and drive business value. You will translate this vision into well-defined requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, secure, private, and scalable experiences that are consistent across all platforms.
The Accounts team sits at the foundation of Appleβs services ecosystem, protecting over a billion active customers while ensuring seamless, private access to Appleβs first-party and third-party content.\\n\\nWe are looking for a high-impact product manager to bridge the worlds of account architecture, regulatory compliance, platform security, and fraud prevention. In this role, you will collaborate with legal, privacy, security, trust \u0026 safety teams to define and execute the strategic roadmap for complex global mandates, drive resilient defenses against account takeover and fraudulent abuse, and build privacy-first while maintaining best-in-class user experiences worldwide.\\n\\nThis role plays a critical part in building user trust and enabling seamless access to products and services at scale.
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Account Safety \u0026 Compliance\\nPerform competitive analysis and come up with innovative product concepts\\nAct as the voice of the customer in discussions with Trust \u0026 Safety, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Government Affairs to translate statutory mandates into intuitive product experiences that preserve Appleβs high bar for privacy.\\nDefine user-centric product requirements for authentication, recovery, and device pairing, protecting accounts against automated bot attacks, and takeover attempts\\nPartner with engineering teams to shape rule and ML-based risk engines that detect malicious account farms, promotional abuse without penalizing honest users.\\nContinuously evaluate and optimize conversion funnels, balancing security guardrails against customer drop-off.\\nBalance user experience, security, privacy, compliance, and platform scalability in all product decisions\\nPartner closely with engineering to define technical requirements and drive execution from concept to launch\\nEstablish clear success metrics and monitor performance across the account lifecycle\\nAct as a subject-matter expert to influence product decisions on account systems, identity, and lifecycle best practices across the organization
Bachelorβs Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.\\n7+ years of product management experience, with ownership of user-facing platform features, high-scale consumer identity, trust \u0026 safety, fraud, or regulatory compliance features.\\nStrong ability to translate business needs to feature and product designs\\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority\\nExtraordinary relationship skills collaborating and influencing across teams\\nProven ability to ship high-quality products in complex, cross-functional environments\\nDeep empathy for users combined with a strong understanding of security, privacy, and risk trade-offs\\nHighly analytical and comfortable using data to drive decisions and prioritize work
MBA or Masterβs Degree in related fields is preferred\\nPrior experience working in user accounts space is a strong plus\\nExperience working on large-scale, global products is a strong plus\\nDemonstrated experience operationalizing regulatory frameworks (COPPA, GDPR) into shipping consumer software
