As a member of our Worldwide Product Marketing group, you will represent customers throughout a product line’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product development process. At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to focus on system apps spanning iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.\\n\\nDynamic, creative people and inspiring, innovative technologies are the norm here. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product roadmap and strategy for key system apps including Calendar, Files, Finder, Preview, Calculator and Settings, as well as important app frameworks for developers\\nUnderstand your product technologies several layers deep and be able to clearly communicate them with knowledgable insight\\nInfluence critical product trade-offs that impact schedule, usability, differentiation, etc\\nDeeply understand user feedback, competitive trends, emerging regulatory requirements, and the overall product space to inform a well-developed perspective on system apps\\nPosition Apple’s suite of System Apps in the competitive landscape and craft compelling key product messaging to encourage customer adoption to drive business growth\\nWork with marketing communications and PR on the development of product launch and momentum activities, press releases, marketing materials, and press briefings including product demos\\nServe as an ambassador for Apple through press briefings and customer visits to drive advocacy for your product

4+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles, including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch\\nHands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and/or partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities\\nRecent experience within the last 3 years in one or more of the following software segments: consumer apps (productivity, utility, creativity), app frameworks, or consumer OS experiences\\nAbility to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of deep subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure

Deep understanding of app development\\nBest-in-class oral and written communication skills; the ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners\\nStrong ability to lead through influence, debate and storytelling\\nExceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease, with the ability to cut through ambiguity\\nStrong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations\\nA self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities\\nPress and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level\\nWillingness to travel\\nBS/BA and/or MBA
