Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

What's in it for you:
Join one of three Unitary portfolio teams, being Product Manager overseeing the Light Splits (Odyssey) portfolio. This position is based out of Davidson, however other central locations including Clarksville, White Bear Lake (Minneapolis/ St Paul) or Waco (plant) would also be considered.

What you will do:

  • Build and align the Product Growth Team (PGT) around a shared vision and drive a winning culture throughout the team
  • Set the growth strategy for Odyssey product line via the annual Long Range Plan process
  • Define assessment process and confirm filtering and prioritization criteria that PGTs will use for the quantification of growth opportunities that would allow Trane Technologies to participate in markets that are growing faster and most profitably
  • Establish and validate that business models (financial management, risk management, industry metrics, ROI, etc.) are being used across the products managed
  • Lead directly and/or lead through influence the activities on projects related to the business categories: Operations, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Innovation
  • Own monthly product level demand forecasts
  • Develop and adhere to an Annual Operating Plan, and coordinate planning across product lines as appropriate
  • Ensure the PGT is using standard work for A3, Monthly Line Review, in-line management, TLME, and GDLO
  • Ensure PGTs are performing against defined metrics in the plan including organic growth revenue, EBIDTA margins, market share, and price realization.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager with increasing levels of complexity and strategic focus or 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching products or processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Technical background, with experience in sales, marketing, engineering or finance preferred
  • Excellent team interaction skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Sound program management, analysis, problem resolution, teambuilding, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Should have a proven track record of innovative solutions and thinking
  • Must be able to travel 20%-30% of the time
  • HVACR industry a plus
