The Product Manager develops and executes marketing strategies for products, focusing on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.Β They act as a bridge between product development, marketing, and sales, understanding the product's value and communicating it effectively to both internal and external audiences.Β
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Develop and execute product strategies for USB Data management systems, targeting Tier 1 and private high-end hospitals in China and Asia-Pacific.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to localize products for Asia-Pacific and Chinese regulatory requirements and hospital needs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities in the high-end hospital segment, focusing on volume-based procurement (VBP) trends and hospital administrator priorities.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators and clinicians, to drive product adoption and gather feedback.
- Manage product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive plans for launching new products or features, including defining target audiences, pricing, and distribution channel
- Overseeing the creation of marketing materials like brochures, videos, blog posts, and presentations.
- Monitoring key metrics, gathering customer feedback, and iterating on strategies to maximize results.Β
- Analyzing competitor offerings, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation.Β
- Provide bilingual support (Mandarin and English) for cross-functional teams and client communications.
Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3β5+ years of product management experience in support of product sales into high-end hospitals.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) to engage with Chinese hospitals and global teams.
- Deep understanding of the Asian healthcare market, particularly Asia-Pacific and Chinaβs public and private hospital ecosystems.
- Experience navigating volume-based procurement (VBP) and diagnosis-related group (DRG) pricing in Asia-Pacific and China.
- Ability to clearly articulate product value and engage with various audiences.Β
- Ability to interpret data, track performance, and make data-informed decisions.Β
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.Β
- The base pay range for this role is between $110,000 and $160,000 and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location, along with budgeted range of position.
