Our internships span a variety of business areas and are open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.

Job Description

A Product Management Intern at Medline will work closely with the Product Division team members and will be exposed to all areas of the business, including product development, marketing, global sourcing, sales, negotiation, quality assurance, operations, and financial strategies.Β 

Possible projectsΒ could include:Β 

  • Development and launch of new product lines and/or product improvementsΒ 

  • AssistingΒ in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategiesΒ 

  • Collaborating with marketing to develop promotional pieces and design packagingΒ 

  • Researching the market and performing analyses toΒ determineΒ new opportunities to grow the businessΒ 

  • Crafting and delivering presentations to our sales force and customersΒ 

  • Negotiating with vendors to ensure business goals are met whileΒ maintainingΒ strong business relationshipsΒ 

  • Working with Inventory Management to ensure proper stock levels and service level goals are metΒ 

Qualifications:Β 

  • Junior standingΒ Β 

  • 3.0Β minimumΒ GPA preferredΒ 

  • PreviousΒ internship experience in product management/development, marketing, and/or business preferredΒ 

  • Active interest in the Healthcare industry preferredΒ 

  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skillsΒ Β 

  • Excellent presentation skills for large and small groupsΒ 

  • Must have strategic,Β analyticalΒ and problem-solving skillsΒ 

  • Must have a bias toward action and be results orientedΒ 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel,Β PowerPointΒ and OutlookΒ 

  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorizationΒ

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$23.25 - $33.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
