We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead Foundry’s enterprise security and governance strategy. You will partner with engineering, security, compliance, identity, and platform teams to deliver secure, governable AI capabilities at scale. Your work will help enterprises move confidently from experimentation to production meeting their security and compliance requirements while accelerating adoption.



Responsibilities
  • Own Foundry’s enterprise security and governance strategy and roadmap, proactively identifying readiness gaps and prioritizing investments based on customer impact, security risk, and business value.
  • Define the end-to-end enterprise promise across Foundry models, agents, and platform capabilities.
  • Drive cross-organizational execution across engineering, security, compliance, identity, governance, field, and feature teams.
  • Translate enterprise needs and telemetry signals into systemic product improvements, turning recurring deployment friction into scalable capabilities.
  • Deliver security capabilities for regulated and government cloud environments.
  • Represent Microsoft externally with chief information security offices (CISOs), security advisory boards, and industry analysts, and bring that market insight back into the product roadmap.
  • Promote agility and learning, empowering teams to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve our AI systems at a faster pace.
  • Provide clarity in ambiguous environments, influence stakeholders, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.Β 


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development.
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Β 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success in launching and scaling multi-million dollarΒ revenue products, ideally in the AI/ML security platform domain.Β 
  • Experience defining product strategy in enterprise security, threat detection, security posture management, identity, or data governance.
  • Deep fluency with enterprise security and governance domains, ideally including endpoint, identity, and data-protection technologies.
  • Experience engaging externally with security buyers (CISOs), industry analysts, and ecosystem partners.
  • Product led growth focusΒ with data-driven decision-making skills.Β 
  • Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities.Β 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex dependencies.Β 
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a bias for action.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
