Principal Product Manager – ADN (Network Edge), CDN, and SaaS Platform

Summary:
F5 is seeking an individual with leadership, partnering and analytical abilities, who can build a shared vision for F5’s multi-cloud networking and security direction;Β deliver cloud network security and cloud network management products on top of the F5’s SaaS platform (Cloud Mesh and App Stack); help to build products from existing ideas; and help to develop new insights based on industry experience and contact with customers, prospects and partners.

As a Principal PM of F5’s Application Delivery Network (ADN) – Network Edge, you will steer F5’s Network Edge service offerings, which includes Apps on F5’s Global Network, partnerships and managed offerings. This role requires a solid understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDN), technology business, well developed analytic and modeling skills, and an ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to peers and executives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Product owner of F5’s services for Application Delivery Network which includes Kubernetes Apps and Content Delivery on F5 Pops. Β 
  • Product owner of F5’s services for Content Delivery which includes CDN on F5 Pops. Β 
  • Managing Shared Platform Services such as Data Retention, Logging, Log Streaming to External systems including SIEM.
  • Metering of metrics for Billing, Usage, Adoption.
  • Drive integration of F5 Telemetry data with Salesforce CRM to provide a 360-degree customer centric view of usage, revenue and adoption.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with ADN, CDN, Multi-Cloud Networking market.
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to listen, organize and champion key initiatives and projects for product development.
  • Ability to learn quickly, build consensus and interact effectively with teamsβ€”Product Management, cross-functional or vendor.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding listener, great presenter, terrific interpersonal and communication skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions.
  • Strong awareness of technology trends and potential influence on F5’s business
  • Strong teaming skills: positive teammate, good team builder, experience to bring together diverse views.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Ability to lead in a constantly evolving environment, manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • Ability to converse with technical and business personnel fluently.

Qualifications

  • Engineering, Sales Operations, Finance, MBA or similar. Engineering degree is plus.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Zuora a plus though not a pre-requisite.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing SaaS Platform.

The annual base pay for this position is: $195,823.00 - $293,735.00
