Job Description:

THE ROLE:

Entegris is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Pricing and ProfitabilityΒ to develop, execute, and optimize pricing and profitability processes and strategies. As our new Pricing and Profitability Lead, you will coordinate and partner with our divisional teams, and critical support functions, to drive the maximization of product margins across our dynamic business.

What You'll Do:

  • LeverageΒ existing AIΒ and standard analytical tools to developΒ andΒ execute pricing strategiesΒ in coordination with the divisional business teamsΒ that align with company goals, considering factors like market conditions, competitor pricing, discounting strategies, and product costsΒ 

  • Partner with various stakeholders to gain consensus on business drivers and requirements for product profitability measurements andΒ relatedΒ analyticsΒ 

  • Provide leadership and guidanceΒ to business partners and support functionsΒ on the development of long-range profitability improvementΒ strategy roadmapsΒ including product lifecycle portfolio optimizationΒ 

  • CreateΒ cost and profitability analytics, decision support tools, and related materials to support pricing strategy developmentΒ including market trends and customer buying behaviorsΒ 

  • Conduct periodic training covering available pricing analytics, reporting, tools and processes for all appropriate functionsΒ 

  • EvaluateΒ and develop creative solutions, improvements to pricing and profitability related business processes and challengesΒ on an on-going basisΒ Β 

  • Work closely with sales, product management, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and implementedΒ 

  • Develop and maintain pricing models, including list prices, discount structures, and pricing strategiesΒ in coordination with the product management teamsΒ 

  • Track and analyze pricing performance, including sales trends, revenue generation, and profitability, and reporting findings to managementΒ Β 

  • Identifying and assessing potential risks and opportunities associated with pricing strategies and recommending mitigation strategiesΒ 

  • StayingΒ up to dateΒ on pricing analysis methods, industry trends, and best practicesΒ toΒ continuously improve pricing strategies, support tools, and training materialsΒ

What We Seek:

  • Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Data Science/AnalyticsΒ 

  • A minimum of five years of progressiveΒ pricing and/orΒ product management experience driving activities that influence and impactΒ profitabilityΒ 

  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders to develop data-driven pricing strategiesΒ 

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; the ability to communicate clearly and influence and lead othersβ€―aroundΒ complex pricing concepts and strategiesΒ 

  • Ability to develop and implement long-term pricing strategies that align with business goalsΒ 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlinesΒ 

  • Experience with pricing software, data analysis tools, and financial modelingΒ 

  • A self-starter who is curious, agile, creativeβ€―and able to work and communicate across geographic boundaries and multiple cultural environmentsΒ 

  • The ability to manage conflict constructively and align cross functional team members to make and act on decisions that enhance portfolio and business value creationΒ 

  • ExperienceΒ analyzingΒ the entire product life cycle, from new product creation, go to market and launch strategies, and sustaining investmentsΒ with a focus on margin optimizationΒ 

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeΒ

  • Compensation: $118,000- $157,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
