Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

Director of Product Management, NSTC Capabilitiesย

In this role you will drive Natcast's product strategy, developing innovative offerings that both advance America's semiconductor ecosystem and create sustainable earned revenue streams supporting NSTC's long-term mission.ย 

Every day you will meet with industry representatives, analyze market opportunities and industry needs, translating deep semiconductor ecosystem insights into compelling product offerings while balancing commercial viability with Natcast's public mission.ย 

To thrive in this role you must combine tangible semiconductor market knowledge with strategic product development expertise, demonstrating both technical understanding and business acumen while creating value propositions that resonate across the semiconductor ecosystem.ย 

Responsibilities:ย 

  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy for developing the NSTC's advanced capabilities and facilities based on immediate and long-term market demandย 

  • Lead market research initiatives identifying high-value opportunities across the semiconductor ecosystemย 

  • Create innovative pricing and business models supporting both revenue generation and ecosystem advancementย 

  • Design product roadmaps aligned with industry needs that expand the NSTCโ€™s technical capabilitiesย 

  • Conduct detailed market analysis of semiconductor industry requirements and capability gapsย 

  • Guide development of service offerings across research, manufacturing and workforce development effortsย 

  • Establish product development methodologies balancing market demand with mission objectivesย 

  • Direct voice-of-customer programs ensuring deep understanding of industry needsย 

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new capability offeringsย 

  • Create value propositions resonating with diverse semiconductor stakeholdersย 

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between technical and business teamsย 

  • Establish metrics tracking product success and market impactย

Required Skills and Experience:ย 

  • Master's Degree in Relevant Engineering desiredย 

  • 12+ years semiconductor industry experienceย 

  • Technology Development or Technology Integration or Device Technology experience requiredย 

  • Strong product management backgroundย 

  • Deep understanding of semiconductor industry economicsย 

  • Experience in market analysisย 

  • Technical capability assessment experienceย 

  • Strategic planning capabilitiesย 

  • Strong stakeholder managementย 

  • Market research experienceย 

  • Cross-functional team experienceย
